How to apply:
Apply at least twice daily or as directed by a medical health professional.
Before each application of Curaderm BEC5 wash the area with water, and dry thoroughly. Apply antiseptic gel to the area, and rub in. This procedure ensures removal of dead cells which would otherwise form a barrier.
Apply an adequate layer yet not an excessive amount of Curaderm BEC5 to the affected areas only, avoiding the surrounding area. Cover with a simple dressing such as the micropore paper-tape provided with your order. Never allow the area to dry out.
Step 1: Preparation – Cleanse the area using an antiseptic solution such as Hibiclens Antiseptic skin cleanser and dry the area. Alternatively, use soap and water to clean the area.
Step 2: Application – Apply Curaderm BEC5 only to the original area avoiding the surrounding areas to reduce redness on the edges.
Step 3: Covering – Gently cover the area with a simple dressing such as a surgical paper tape (3M Micropore paper tape).

How often should I use Curaderm BEC5?
Curaderm-BEC5 should be used at least twice daily but may also be used up to ten times daily. Please speak to your doctor or healthcare provider for direction in more frequent applications. It is important to always cover the affected area with a dressing such as Micropore, which is a brand of paper tape. DO NOT allow the area to which cream is applied to dry out.

How long should I perform applications of Curaderm BEC5?
You should apply the cream on the affected areas with Curaderm BEC5 twice a day until the area appears normal. On occasion it may be necessary to prolong regime. If in doubt, it is better to keep using the cream on the area for an extended period of time to prevent re-occurrence. It is important to ensure a regular application regime. Multiple skipped applications may result in the growth of normal skin over the top of the affected area. This can result in masking, and thus the incomplete healing.

How should Curaderm BEC5 be stored?
It is recommended to store Curaderm BEC5 in a cool, dry place - preferably below the temperature of 25°C (77°F). After opening, the cream should be stored in the refrigerator.

After opening the product, the cream was liquid. Does this affect the effectiveness of the product? Is the product permanently damaged as a result of high temperatures, or will it be fine after cooling it down in the refrigerator?
The Curaderm-BEC5 tube is not damaged but separated due to high temperatures.
It can be reconstituted back to its normal paste like form again and is still 100% effective!
To reconstitute your tube of Curaderm BEC5 back to its normal formulation, please follow the following 4 steps listed below:
Step 1: Place the tube of Curaderm BEC5 in a small pot of very hot water that is 140-158 degrees Fahrenheit (60-70 degrees Celsius) for approximately 5 minutes.
Step 2: Remove the tube of Curaderm BEC5 and shake it vigorously by hand. You will be able to hear the liquid when shaking the tube like it is water. Continues to shake until you stop hearing the aqueous solution shaking inside.
Step 3: Place the tube of Curaderm BEC5 into the freezer for 15 minutes.
Step 4: Then store the tube of Curaderm BEC5 in the refrigerator for use. The purpose of placing the Curaderm BEC5 into a pot of very hot water that is 140-158°F (60-70°C) is to fully separate all the ingredients completely before blending them back together into its normal formulation. Following these 4 steps will ensure that the ingredients in your tube of Curaderm BEC5 will be blended back together and the product will work 100% effectively as new. This should also return the CuradermBEC5 to a creamy consistency.

I'm planning on working outside or participating in water activities. What precautions should I take?
It is extremely important that, after you have applied Curaderm BEC5 to the area, that you cover the area with an occlusive dressing. The manufacturer recommends using micropore paper tape as an occlusive dressing. Micropore paper tape is necessary to prevent the area from drying out and forming a scab. Water are a great form of exercise, but it is extremely important that you do not get the dressing wet. If the dressing accidentally becomes wet or if it becomes detached before the next scheduled dosing, you should reapply new cream and a new dressing. In addition, the manufacturer recommends that you avoid sun exposure to the area where Curaderm is being applied. If you planning on working outside, we would recommend you put on a wide brimmed hat to avoid exposing your face to the sun. In addition, we would recommend you wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen on all areas of your face, neck, and other parts of your body that may be exposed to the sun.

When is it OK to use skin lotions or creams like Tamanu oil on an area?
You should not use creams or lotions on the area you are applying Curaderm BEC5 to. Once you are no longer using Curaderm BEC5, you can use creams or lotions.

Suggestion for application of Micropore paper tape.
• Tape should be applied without tension to clean, dry skin.
• A clipper may be used to remove hair, if necessary.
• To protect at-risk skin, 3M™ Cavilon™ No Sting Barrier Film may be applied and when thoroughly dry, tape may be applied over it.
• In general, do not encircle a limb completely with tape. • If distention is anticipated, use a tape that stretches or a self-adherent wrap to secure the dressing or tubing
A. General taping
Apply the tape without tension, gently but firmly stroking the surface to maximize adhesion. Tape should extend at least one-half inch beyond the dressing. Tape should not be pulled or stretched when applied. If swelling does occur, loosen and re-fasten or replace tape to relieve the tension.
B. When compression is needed
1. Place first section of tape without tension onto skin on one side of the dressing, gently pressing downward.
2. With one hand, secure tape on one edge of the dressing while slightly stretching next section of tape over the dressing.
3. Secure tape on opposite edge of the dressing.
4. Press remaining tape onto skin without tension. Compression should come from the multiple layers of dressing material, not from excessive tension in the tape. Skin distention under tape may result in blistering and should be relieved as soon as possible.

What is the cream’s shelf life?

(click to return to top of this page)
Why do I need micropore tape? Is it necessary for application?

(click to return to top of this page)
What if I have sensitive skin and the tape provided is too sticky?
In cases when the provided surgical micropore tape is too sticky and the skin is sensitive it is generally recommended to try and remove the tape after each application under water for easier removal. Alternatively, one should consider switching to micropore tape for sensitive skin.

curaderm
I've been using this for about 40 days. Not much swelling, a little bit of redness, and the outer rim is stabbing with new skin in some places. I will continue to use as I am seeing a difference and my husband says it is looking a lot better.

Great product, results started the first day
Will buy this product again

SCC
I’m on immunosuppressant meds. I get eruptions of SCC infrequent however constant. The cream and tape have proven effective in several areas. Are there different strengths as it takes weeks and months. I’ve taken pictures to document the effectiveness.

Curaderm
This is the second time I have bought this product. The first time I was skeptical. It comes in a tiny tube and I thought I got ripped off. I began using it on my bleeding basal cell carcinoma per instructions and kept it going for 4 months the first time. I was pleasantly surprised when it worked as advertised. I kept the first tube for three years in the fridge. I recently ran out after using it on other spots so I bought more. I have shown my Dr. what I was doing and he confirmed that it must work be ques it was BCC and a year later it was completely gone. If you have larger spots (quarter size or larger) it can leave a scar so be aware. But if you are an older guy like me and want to completely remove the rust this product actually does exactly what it says. That's why I keep buying it. Use it per instructions and it will eliminate BCC.

Curaderm is the best
I have used this to remove terrible basal cell carcinomas around my eye, all over my face, arms and legs. Surgery would not have been an option in any of these cases. This cream got rid of all of them. However, it is painful--but worth it compared to the alternative.

Curaderm BEC5
This product is by far better than getting cut up by a dermatologist. I have been using it for 2 years now and have had good results. I do have one question. My BCC is mild, no open lesions or bumps, however some is rather large. What is the best way to treat an area that is about 6 x 3 cm?
-
Using Curaderm to find all of one's skin cancer.
Persistent application of the cream wears away even the most stubborn lesions. Observing the 'search and destroy' feature of how Curaderm works, shows by how the location of the same lesions gradually move, day by day, that no dermatologist could remove one's cancer by surgery or another such method, without cutting out a much larger area of skin. That's because there is no way other than by using the cream to find out where the entire cancer is.

Was told by dermatologist to remove facial discoloration/ redness/ basil something! Had the discoloration and light throbbing in that area for few years, figured enough is enough, my brother told me to try curad
Glad I used the tan colored tape, the spot got dark for about 2 days

We have used this product beforeand been very happy with it.The hard part was getting my husband to put up with the total time needed to complete treatment. It seemed to come back next to the original lesion a year or so later. I will make sure ther
I was very impressed with Vita Stream in the promptness of how quickly I received my order. We were thrilled to get the tan tape--great improvement--as it blends in so well on his Caucasian face.

BEC-5 Curaderm
The stuff works, but you have to be prepared for a lot of discomfort and tape changing. Things will get worse before they better. You have to be dedicated. I think it does beat getting cut by a dermatologist. I would give five stars but I think the price is too high. I'm on my third tube as it goes fast.

curaderm topical cream
I have tried many other topical ointments on BCC, and this is the only one that I have had positive results with.

BEC-5
Very, good product.

I highly recommend CuraDerm because it works
I'm 69 years old and have been battling basal cell car cinomas for 44 years. Every time the dermatologist cuts, burns, scrapes, freezes my damaged skin, the can cer comes back right next to where it was removed. Have done a lot of research over the last 5 years since I retired, and this is the best product I've ever used that really works. It's a long process, but it works. This is the third tube I've purchased as new damage has shown up. THIS PRODUCT WORKS!! If anyone is hesitating on buying this based on the price, please don't. For best results, apply more than you think you should, and don't rub it in. Let the micro tape do it's job. And definitely buy the skin colored tape. It hides really well for those areas you treat on your face, neck, arms, etc. I highly recommend CuraDerm because it works, and the car cinomas don't come back!!!

It is amazing stuff and natural. It works great on skin bumps and really goes down to the root.
My husband used to have these bumps frozen off, but now we are using Curaderm.

Curaderm
I have used this product twice before with great success. Squamous cells never returned. I have two new ones in different locations.
-
Third tube
This is my third tube of Curaderm because it works. I was raised in the Florida sun when it was good for you so my skin is paying for it now.. product came promptly with a roll of paper tape included. Will use Vita-steam again.

Curaderm
As today is Thanksgiving, I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Cham for developing this incredible miracle cream!!! As a nurse, I find the different stages that the BCC/SCC's go through during apoptosis to be fascinating. Being a 70's baby oil and iodine bathing beauty caused many sun-damaged areas; I've successfully treated others in the past and am now working on 4. I'd like to see some type of forum active to give advice to new users who might be freaking out once they begin to see the base of their cancerous icebergs. The trick to total eradication of non-melanoma skin cancers that have been growing for years is persistently treating them at least twice a day until they are gone!

Love the cream especially on precancerous spots.

Curaderm BEC5 Cream
The whole secret to getting good results is perseverance. You have to apply the cream until the cancer is 100% completely gone. If you didn't kill all of it in the area you were working on the first time around, the little spots you didn't completely eradicate will reappear later after the surrounding skin is healed and smoothed out. That's OK because then they are easier to identify due to itching and are easy to eliminate.by reapplications of the cream. You can heal very deep ugly lesions with almost no scarring. Skin cancer, until it gets very obvious, is almost impossible to see. The skin can look 'normal' and have lots of cancer under the surface which the cream will gradually find - which will create more lesions as you continue applying the cream to obvious cancers that you can see. Thus the overall size of the lesion area can increase for that reason as the BEC5 ingredient biologically goes under the tape and contacts surrounding invisible cancer nodes. If you've been exposed to the sun a lot by sunbathing, it's best to work on only one area such as a lower arm. Don't put the cream on an arm, and a leg, and your face, for example. You don't know in advance how much lesion area the cream is going to create in various stages of healing in each area, and you will not want to have big lesion areas developing all over your body. That's the only problem I've had in using Curaderm.
